My Favorite *Crispy* Chocolate Chip Cookies

Everyone who's tried these absolutely LOVES these (I highly recommend you try this recipe). My mom got the recipe from my great-aunt (Auntie Kei). They're crispy (partly from the Corn Flakes) and just...perfect. And this recipe makes A LOT of cookies. See recipe below.

This is just part of the total amount of cookies we made with this recipe (and we made them kinda big):

BEFORE:

Oops...forgot to take an AFTER picture.

Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:

3 1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cubes butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup quick Quaker Oats
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup crushed Corn Flakes

1. Sift flour, baking soda, & salt
2. Beat together butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, milk, & vanilla
3. Stir in flour mixture alternately with oil until mixed
4. Stir in crushed Corn Flakes, oats & chocolate chips
5. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet; press down a bit
6. Oven 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes until lightly brown

*Not sure exactly how many this makes, but the cookies we made were bigger than they're supposed to be. I'd say at least three dozen if you make them as big as we did.
* If you make them according to my great-aunt's original recipe (i.e., make each glob of cookie dough the size of just one teaspoon), you'll get wayyy more!
